Our Chauffeur/Guide with meet everyone at Dublin or Belfast Airport arrivals area, assist with your luggage onto your Luxury Mini Bus and then its off to your first Links – Royal County Down Golf Club.

The club boasts arguably the most spectacular setting of any of the UK and Ireland’s traditional links. The Mountains of Mourne provide a glorious backdrop throughout with the sea to your right as you head out over a stirring opening stretch. RCD, as it’s sometimes known, boasts a truly impressive roll call of architectural influences through the ages, starting with Old Tom Morris who first extended the links to 18 holes back in 1890. Since then, Harry Vardon, Harry Colt, Donald Steel, and most recently, Martin Ebert, have all stamped their mark on this truly magical place.

Your accommodation for the first night is the magnificent 5 Star Slieve Donard Hotel and Spa. The stylish ‘Classic Rooms’ are available as Single, Double and Twin rooms. Each room is decorated to create a tranquil atmosphere to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Dine in style in the Hotel Restaurant or at the many seafood restaurants in town which is a short walking distance from the Hotel.

Day 2 - Portstewart Golf Course

After breakfast at the Slieve Donard Hotel we take a road trip up to the North Coast of Ireland and play Portstewart Golf Club. The outstanding Championship Strand Course was the host for the 2017 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. Jon Rahm, the 2017 Winner was certainly impressed stating, “the golf course is amazing. It’s probably one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever seen, if not the most”. The views from almost every hole are quite simply, magical. The Atlantic is never very far away and the beauty of the course has to be seen to be believed. It is a treat that will take a very long time, if ever, to fade from the golfers memory.

After golf and a few relaxing drinks at the Clubhouse you will check in to your luxury Home Stay for the remainder of your trip. Located in Derry City, your home boasts 8 individually decorated bedrooms with en-suites sleeping a maximum of 16 people. For those who wish to read or relax and socialise our beautiful lounge area with stunning period bar is the perfect space to do so.

Day 3 - Ballyliffin Golf Club - Glashedy

Leave Derry around 8am (40min drive) to Nancys Barn for breakfast which is located 5 mins from the Golf Course and enjoy a traditional Irish Breakfast.. When I play Ballyliffin I can’t drive past here without stopping

Ballyliffin has rapidly gained acclaim and recognition as one of the finest golf clubs in the world. Situated on the northern most tip of Ireland, at the start of the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballyliffin is now firmly on the itinerary of every discerning golfer visiting this island. The Glashedy Links has hosted the European Tour 2018 DDF Irish Open, the 2016 Irish Close Championship and Boys Home Internationals, The Interprovincial Championships in 2006, the European Tour North West of Ireland Open in 2002 and the Ladies Irish Open in 1998.

After your round, sit back and take in the views from the Clubhouse and even try the fantastic food and drink that’s on offer.

Day 4 - Giants Causeway/Carrick-a-Rede Bridge, Bushmills Distillery and Mussenden Temple

On your 4th Day Trip you will be driven along the North Coast, make sure your phone is fully charged as you will take in the culture and history along this beautiful part of Ireland. Key stops will be:

Mussenden Temple – Discover the striking 18th-century mansion of the eccentric Earl Bishop that now lies in ruin, then explore Mussenden Temple, perched on the cliff edge. As an extra treat you can learn about the reality of life in the rural 17th-century cottage of Hezlett House, told through people who once lived there in one of Northern Ireland’s oldest buildings.

Giants Causeway – Visit Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site and learn how the Causeway was formed with one of our award-winning storytellers by booking Visitor Experience tickets. We have guided tours running every hour; or you can pick up an audio guide and unlock the secrets of this landscape at your own pace, with information available in 11 languages and options to suit all ages.

Carrick-a-Rede – A ramble across the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge is arguably one of the most unique things to do on the Antrim Coast. The first rope bridge was built 1755 to facilitate salmon fishing. Over the years, the material used for the bridge advance for safety purposes. The current Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge now hangs 25 feet above the chilly waters below and it’s a cosy one meter wide.

Bushmills Distillery – On the way home, stop off at the Bushmills Distillery. The Bushmills brand portfolio includes five award-winning whiskies: Bushmills Original, Black Bush, Bushmills 10 Year Single Malt, Bushmills 16 Year Single Malt and Bushmills 21 Year Single Malt. In 2017 we added Red Bush to our core range. We also have our Distillery Reserve, a 12 Year Single Malt available to taste and buy only from the Distillery. During your tour you will see the copper potstills used to distil this special spirit. The triple-distillation is at the heart of all Bushmills whiskies and creates a unique combination of smoothness and richness.

Day 5 - Castlerock Golf Club

Castlerock Golf Club, is a classic links course set amid towering dunes. Situated on the Causeway coast and only a 20 minute drive from both Royal Portrush Golf Club and Portstewart Golf Club, Castlerock is a more than worthy neighbor to both of these great Irish links. Its scenic qualities embrace the river Bann flowing out to the Atlantic, and also eye-catching views of Donegal and on a clear day towards Scotland and the Isle of Islay. An ideal retreat in which to play golf.

In 2015, Castlerock was awarded Hidden Gem of Northern Ireland. The Golf Club lies on Ireland’s North Coast near Coleraine, about 60-minutes’ drive from Belfast city. The traditional links course is one of many North Ireland gems golf courses.

Day 6 - Royal Portrush Golf Club

The Dunluce Links course is considered to be one of the best courses in the world. It was ranked fourth by Golf World in their list of “The 100 greatest courses in the British Isles” in November 1996. Golf Magazine ranked it twelfth in their list of the Top 100 Courses in the World, and Golf Digest ranked it as the fourth best course outside the United States in 2007.

The Links is named after the nearby ruins of the medieval Dunluce Castle located on the edge of a basalt outcropping overlooking the sea between Portrush and Portballintrae.

The original architect was the famed Harry Colt who produced a breathtaking golf links opening up views of the Atlantic Ocean. In 2015, in for the hosting of The Open in 2019, redesign works commenced under the stewardship of Martin Ebert.
